How it works

No typing, no tagging, no folders.

Three steps. Only the last one is on you: go, watch, cook, read.

  1. Catch it from anywhere

Upload screenshots from your camera roll, drag a whole folder into the web app, paste a link, or forward it to the Telegram bot. Images, videos, links, and text.

  2. CatchyBox figures out what it is

Even when it's spread across 30 screenshots or tucked inside a video. It reads the text, listens to the audio, stitches the pieces of one post back together, and finds the name even when it's buried in the comments. You review and confirm.

Reviewing a catch before uploading it
  3. You find it, then you go do it

Search for it when you need it, open it in Maps, see where to stream it, or jump straight to the repo. When it's done, mark it done. If it's a plan with someone else, share it in a box.

What happens inside

A screenshot goes in. A card comes out.

That ramen spot from a reel comes in as a screenshot and leaves as a restaurant card: name, neighborhood, hours. The AI reads what's on screen, what's said out loud, and what people wrote in the comments. If something's off, edit it and your version wins.

With sources, not guesses

The AI shows you where every fact came from.

A reel rarely tells you the year, the director, or where to stream it. CatchyBox looks it up in public catalogs like AniList, Wikipedia, and Open Library, plus the web, fills in the blanks, and cites each source.

  • Every fact comes with its source, so you can check it in one tap.
  • If the name was only in the comments, it finds it there.
  • Your edits win: fix something and it stays the way you left it.

Web research is part of Pro and Family.

Shared boxes

One box for the two of you.

Start a "Mexico City eats" or "Weekend anime" box, invite people with a link, and everyone drops in their own finds. Carla saves a ramen place and it shows up on Diego's phone right away. When they go, Carla marks it done and Diego sees that too. Everything else stays private to you.

  • Free includes 1 shared box for up to 3 people. Pro gets as many boxes as you want, up to 5 people each. Family, up to 10.
  • If someone posts something out of line, you can report it, leave the box, or block them.
  • Shared boxes are for people 18 and over.

Also on Telegram

Send it to the bot like you'd send it to yourself.

Forward whatever your friends send you to the CatchyBox bot: a link, a screenshot, a whole album, a video. It lands in your library like any other catch.

  • Link it once from the web app.
  • Works on every plan, Free included.
  • It's optional. If you never link it, nothing of yours goes to Telegram.

English and Spanish

Works in your language and your partner's.

The app is in English and Spanish, and understands screenshots in either language or a mix of both. Everyone uses it in their own language, shared boxes included.

  • US English, plus neutral Spanish for all of Latin America.
  • A TikTok in English with comments in Spanish? It gets the whole thing.
  • Switch languages in Settings whenever you want.

Each capture CatchyBox processes with AI counts as one catch, even if it has several things in it, like five recommended anime. Payments go through Stripe. Cancel anytime in Settings, and your catches stay put.
  • Your screenshots don't train AI

Neither Amazon Bedrock (Claude and Amazon Nova) nor AWS's moderation and transcription services use your content to train or improve their models.

  • Private by default

Nobody sees your catches except the people in a box where you share them.

  • Export everything, anytime

Your original files and all your data in a ZIP, on any plan, at no cost.

  • Delete your account and it's gone for good

Immediately, with all your content, no waiting period. Backups clear out within 30 days at most.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask before signing up.

What can I catch?

Screenshots, whole carousels, videos, links, and text. It works with what you see on TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, Threads, or any web page.

Do I have to type or tag anything?

No. CatchyBox adds the title, the type, and the details. If something's off, edit it and your change sticks.

What counts as a catch?

Each capture CatchyBox processes with AI. If it has several things in it, like a post with five recommended anime, it counts as one.

What happens if I run out of catches or video minutes?

Your captures are still saved. A video that doesn't fit in your remaining minutes goes on hold: not processed, not charged. When your minutes reset next month, or as soon as you upgrade, open it and retry.

Is my content used to train AI?

No. CatchyBox understands your catches with models from Anthropic (Claude) and Amazon (Nova) through Amazon Bedrock, which doesn't use your content to train models or share it with the companies that make them.

We also have AWS's opt-out turned on, so moderation (Amazon Rekognition) and transcription (Amazon Transcribe) don't use it to improve their models either.

Before anything is processed with AI, we ask for your permission, and you can withdraw it in Settings.

Who can see what I save?

Only you. If you add a catch to a shared box, the people in that box can see it, and no one else.

Does it work in English and Spanish?

Yes. The app is in both languages and understands screenshots in English, Spanish, or a mix of both.

Is there an iPhone or Android app?

Not yet. Today CatchyBox works on the web, including your phone's browser, and through the Telegram bot. iPhone and Android apps are coming later.

What happens when the Pro trial ends?

You go back to Free and your catches stay right where they are. There's nothing to charge, because we never asked for a card.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, in Settings. You keep Pro through the end of the period you already paid for, then move to Free without losing a single catch. If you have more shared boxes than Free includes, the extras become read-only.

How do I export or delete my data?

In Settings. Export builds a ZIP with your original files and all your data as JSON, available for 7 days. Deleting your account erases it immediately, along with everything in it, and cancels your subscription.

The details are in the privacy policy.

What if CatchyBox shuts down, like Pocket did?

You can export everything, anytime, for free, from day one: your original files and all your data as JSON, on any plan. You never have to wait for a shutdown notice to get your stuff out.

CatchyBox vs mymind?

mymind saves bookmarks and images for one person, in English only. CatchyBox is built for screenshots from social media, understands English and Spanish, pulls out each type's facts with their sources, and has shared boxes for your partner or your friends.

CatchyBox vs Pocket or Raindrop?

Pocket and Raindrop save links and articles to read later. CatchyBox starts from the capture (a screenshot, a reel, a carousel) and turns it into a card with a type, facts, and sources, even when the name was only in the comments.

CatchyBox vs your camera roll or Apple Notes?

Your camera roll keeps the image. CatchyBox understands what it is and finds it by what's in it: "the ramen place in Roma," "the anime from the comments." It works on the web (and on iPhone and Android once the apps arrive), not just inside one ecosystem.

CatchyBox vs Letterboxd or Goodreads?

Those apps are great for one topic each. CatchyBox keeps everything in one place: movies, books, restaurants, anime, products, and 22 more types, each with the facts that matter.

Your camera roll, finally in order.

Start with 3 things you saw today. CatchyBox handles the rest.
