Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Yamil Morales, LLC, the company behind CatchyBox. We wrote them to be understood; if anything isn't clear, email us at soporte@catchybox.com.
The short version
- What you catch is yours. We only use it to provide the service.
- Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material: we block the account and report it to the authorities.
- Shared boxes are for people 18 and over, and you can report anything that shouldn't be there.
- Cancel anytime and your catches stay with you.
- If you delete your account, your catches also leave shared boxes.
1. Who we are and what CatchyBox is
CatchyBox (catchybox.com, app.catchybox.com, and the CatchyBox bot on Telegram) is a service of Yamil Morales, LLC, a company organized in Delaware, United States (“CatchyBox,” “we,” or “us”). It lets you save screenshots, videos, links, and text, organize them with the help of AI, and share them in boxes.
By creating an account or using CatchyBox, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Your account
- You must be 13 or older. If you're a minor where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
- Shared boxes are only for people 18 and over.
- An account belongs to one person. Use accurate information, especially your email and age range.
- Keep your password safe: you're responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone got in without permission, tell us right away.
3. Acceptable use
Use CatchyBox to save and organize what interests you. Don't use it to:
- upload or share content that's illegal or violates other people's rights;
- harass or threaten anyone, or expose someone's personal information without their permission;
- send spam, malware, or misleading links, especially to a shared box;
- access other people's accounts or data, get around your plan's limits (for example, with multiple accounts to repeat the Pro trial), or overload the service;
- copy, resell, or automate access to CatchyBox without our permission, except through the tools we give you, like the Telegram bot;
- hide instructions in screenshots or text to manipulate CatchyBox's AI or other people.
4. Prohibited content
- Child sexual abuse material: zero tolerance. Any content that sexualizes minors is prohibited. If we become aware of it, we block the account immediately, preserve the evidence, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the authorities.
- Sexually explicit content and graphic violence. We check every image before processing it with AI. If we detect nudity, sexual activity, or graphic violence, we don't process it and we delete it, without counting it against your plan. Don't share it in boxes.
- Adult content that isn't explicit, like a mature series, can be saved: we flag it as mature content and its thumbnail stays blurred until you tap it.
- Illegal content, hate speech, content that incites violence, threats, and harassment aren't allowed on CatchyBox.
5. Moderation and reports
- In a shared box you can report any catch from its menu, leave the box, or block a person. If you block someone, they can't invite you again.
- We review every report. We remove content that violates these terms within 24 hours, and whoever posted it may lose access to the box or to their account.
- If you think we removed something of yours by mistake, email us at soporte@catchybox.com: a person will review it within 48 hours.
- We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. If we do, we'll tell you and explain why, unless the law or someone's safety prevents it.
6. Your content
What you upload to CatchyBox stays yours, or belongs to whoever holds its rights. To provide the service, you give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, process (including with AI), adapt (for example, create thumbnails, transcripts, or summaries), and display your content to you and to the people you share it with.
That license is only for running CatchyBox: it doesn't let us sell your content, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. It ends when you delete the content, except for what the Privacy Policy says we must keep.
You're responsible for having the right to upload and share what you upload. If you think something in a box infringes your copyright, email us at soporte@catchybox.com with the details and we'll review it.
7. What AI generates
CatchyBox uses AI to read, classify, summarize, and research your catches. It can be wrong: check what matters before you decide anything, and edit whatever's off. Research cites its sources so you can verify them.
Nothing CatchyBox shows you is medical, legal, or financial advice. A health catch is information to review with a professional.
8. Shared boxes
- Everything you add to a box is visible to the people in that box. Only invite people you want in.
- Free includes 1 shared box for up to 3 people; Pro, as many as you want, up to 5 people each; Family, up to 10.
- If your plan goes down, boxes over your new plan's limit become read-only until you're back on a plan that includes them.
- If a box is deleted, the catches stay in each person's library.
9. If you delete your account
You can delete your account anytime from Settings. It's deleted right away, with all your content, and your catches leave every shared box they were in. What other people added is still theirs and stays in their libraries. If you have an active subscription, it's canceled right away and we delete your customer record at Stripe. Backups clear themselves within 30 days at most.
Before you delete it, export anything you want to keep: it can't be undone.
10. Plans, trial, and payments
- CatchyBox has a free plan (Free) and two paid plans: Pro, at USD 4.99 or MXN 59 per month, or USD 39.99 or MXN 479 per year, and Family, at USD 7.99 or MXN 99 per month, for up to 5 people. Peso prices include IVA (Mexican VAT). What each plan includes is on catchybox.com.
- Payments on the web are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, you authorize recurring charges: your plan renews automatically, every month or every year, until you cancel it. The final price, with any applicable taxes, is shown before you pay.
- The Pro trial lasts 7 days and doesn't ask for a card. When it ends you go back to Free unless you subscribe to Pro. One trial per person.
- Catch allowances renew every monthly period. Each capture CatchyBox processes with AI counts as one catch, even if it has several things in it.
- Family is purchased and managed by one person, who invites the others. Everyone on the plan shares its 1,500 catches a month with AI.
- If we change a price, we'll let you know at least 30 days before your next charge; the change doesn't affect the period you already paid for.
11. Cancellation and refunds
Cancel anytime from Settings. You keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for, then move to Free without losing your catches. We don't give refunds for partial periods, except where the law in your country requires it.
If we ever shut down CatchyBox, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data.
12. What belongs to CatchyBox
The CatchyBox brand, app, site, and code belong to Yamil Morales, LLC. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use them under these terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve CatchyBox without owing you anything.
13. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep CatchyBox running, but there may be outages, bugs, or changes to features. If a change affects you significantly, we'll let you know in advance.
14. Limitation of liability
CatchyBox is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, Yamil Morales, LLC isn't liable for indirect damages or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of the service, and its total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid in the previous 12 months (or USD 50 if you paid nothing). None of this limits the rights consumer protection law gives you in your country.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before any claim, email us at soporte@catchybox.com: almost everything gets solved by talking. If we can't reach an agreement, the dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can go to its consumer protection authorities (in Mexico, Profeco).
16. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a significant way, we'll let you know by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using CatchyBox afterward, you accept the new version; if you don't agree, you can cancel, export your data, and delete your account.
